4 Ways I've Been Working on My Marriage in 2017

On December 31, 2016, I shared why I was ready to kick 2016 to the curb. For many reasons, it was far from my favorite year. I started 2017 by addressing some of the sins, hurts, and bad patterns from 2016. At the same time, I decided I needed to take some intentional steps to improve our marriage.

We were in a great spot, but I wanted to see us get to an even greater spot. At just the right time I read Gary Thomas' book Cherish: The One Word That Changes Everything For Your Marriage. You can read my review of Cherish hereVery few people have influenced my view of marriage and following Jesus more than Gary. In fact, Sacred MarriageEverybody Matters, and Cherish are among my favorite books I've ever read.

Today I have the great privilege of guest posting on Gary' site. In this new article I share 4 Ways I'm Working to Better Cherish My Wife. 2017 has been a great year and I believe my wife would tell you I'm loving and cherishing her more today than I did one year ago. I have a very long way to go but it's been a great year. I'm chasing behind her as she does an amazing job of loving and cherishing me every day!

Click here to read my post, and I'd strongly encourage you to read Gary's books and posts. You can subscribe to his website from his homepage. His posts are always a great challenge to me. And I'd encourage you follow him on social media—Twitter and Facebook. Enjoy!

Your Turn:

I have two copies of Gary's books I'd like to give away (1 copy of Cherish, 1 copy of Sacred Marriage). Leave a comment below, on my Instagram post, or on my Facebook share of this post, and tell me how you would like to better cherish your spouse in 2018. I'll look at all the comments I receive on Facebook, Instagram, and below in the comments section and pick some winners.
